A matching bolt pattern isn't a guaranteed fit. A wheel must also clear the hub center bore and run an appropriate offset. Always confirm against the door-jamb sticker or owner's manual before buying wheels.

How bolt patterns are written

A bolt pattern is lugs × PCD — the number of lug holes and the pitch circle diameter they sit on. 5x114.3 means five studs on a 114.3 mm circle (the same as 5×4.5″). It's the first thing that has to match for a wheel to bolt on.

Pattern alone isn't fitment

Matching the bolt pattern is necessary but not sufficient. The wheel still has to fit the hub's center bore and run a workable offset. We show the cross-reference so you know what to check — always confirm against the door-jamb sticker or manual before you buy.

Patterns are well-established per platform; verify against your owner's manual.

FAQ

What is a wheel bolt pattern (PCD)?

A bolt pattern is written as lugs × PCD, for example 5x114.3 — five lug holes spaced evenly around a 114.3 mm pitch circle diameter (PCD). It's the key number for whether a wheel can bolt onto your hub.

Does a matching bolt pattern mean a wheel will fit?

Not on its own. The bolt pattern must match, but the wheel also has to clear the hub center bore and run a suitable offset (and have enough brake clearance). Treat a shared bolt pattern as 'worth checking', not a guarantee — confirm center bore and offset too.

How do I measure my bolt pattern?

Count the lug holes. For an even number (4, 6, 8) measure center-to-center across two opposite studs. For 5 lugs, measure from the center of one stud to the far edge of the stud two positions away. Or just read it off the door-jamb sticker or owner's manual.

What does 5x114.3 convert to in inches?

114.3 mm is 4.5 inches, so 5x114.3 is the same as 5x4.5". Patterns are often listed both ways; 6x139.7 is 6x5.5", and 5x127 is 5x5".

Bolt patterns are provided as a reference and reflect well-documented values per platform. Always confirm your exact bolt pattern, center bore, and offset against the door-jamb sticker or owner's manual before buying wheels. A shared bolt pattern does not guarantee a wheel will fit.
